Hilary Osborne of The Guardian was crowned Property Journalist of the Year at this week’s LSL Property Press Awards, while the much-respected Jeremy Gates, who made his name at the Express and Press Association, won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Henry Pryor won Property Commentator of the Year, while Bricks & Mortar was named the best property supplement and Helen Davies, of the Sunday Times’ Home supplement, won the title for best columnist.
