Former Savills boss launches new estate agency

Lindsay Cuthill

Lindsay Cuthill, former head of country homes at Savills, has launched his own estate agency called Blue Book.

Having left Savills at the end of last year, following almost three decades with the firm, Cuthill says that his new “boutique agency” will operate nationwide, with key focuses in the South of the UK and South West London.

Focusing on best-in-class, high quality homes,  the new agency is already off to a flying start, with over £80m worth of listings already secured.

Blue Book is taking a “quality over quantity” approach to the properties it chooses to represent, selecting only the most beautiful, historic country and London properties, according to Cuthill.

He said: “Blue Book has been born out of a desire to create a new type of agency – one that in time brings together the weight and credibility of a team of industry heavy hitters, but with a more personal and bespoke approach to service. Selling a beautiful family home is a deeply personal experience and I think that should be reflected at every step of the sales process.

“At Blue Book, I am excited to be able to develop and maintain a personal relationship with each of my clients, offering them the benefits of a highly experienced senior team of experts with the dedication of a boutique practice.

“I am delighted with the response so far, with over £80m of listings secured pre-launch, which reflects the appetite amongst sellers for this style of agency. I am excited to hit the ground running and look forward to growing the team with some stellar appointments to be announced in the coming months ahead.”

First thing to do when launching a new business? Find a unique name. Or is https://bluebooklondon.com/ the same business?
