Former NAEA President Chris Brown sells business to independent chain

An independent chain of agents has added to its branch network with the acquisition of a lettings business.

John German has acquired the Derby lettings business of Sowter & Brown, co-founded by former NAEA President Chris Brown.

The sum paid has not been disclosed.

The acquisition brings the John German network to ten branches in the midlands.

Brown and co-director Amanda Sowter will stay with the business, which was launched in March 2011, and is now trading as John German incorporating Sowter & Brown.

And congratulations from here. You certainly beat me to it. Are you planning on continuing to work or just off over the horizon?
