Royton-based Reloc8 Estate Agency has agreed a partnership to become the sponsor of Oldham Athletic’s YouTube channel and website videos.
The agreement sees the local company, based on Rochdale Road, re-establish a close working relationship with the club and will feature on highlights and website interviews.
Oldham were founder members of the Premier League in 1992, but were relegated two years later and fell to the third tier by 1997. They now play in the Vanarama National League.
Reloc8, whose director, Andrew Jones, is a lifelong Latics fan, has been established for 25 years, originally starting in Halifax and Bradford before opening a branch in Royton six months ago.
The company specialises in sales and lettings, as well as mortgages, and offer a friendly, personal approach to all viewings and transactions.
Jones said: “As Latics supporter for over 35 years, I am delighted to be involved and as a company we want to grow our relationship with the club.
“I am very proud that the club now has local owners, I am pleased with their vision for the future and I’m really excited to be back involved after a period away.
“Like a lot of local businesses, we started out with just one branch but have developed over time and have worked hard on makingReloc81.jpg a name for ourselves through our good service.
“We now have three branches after opening in Royton and we have got exciting plans to continue to grow the business to make it a brand everyone will recognise.
“As a company we look to compete with the bigger names in the market but we pride ourselves on being a local company and offering the best service possible to our customers.
“I’ve been a fan since I was six years old. I’ve been lucky enough to see some great times as a supporter and walking into the club at the moment, I can really feel the sense of optimism.”
Oldham’s general manager, Steven Brown, said: “I’m thrilled that Andrew and Reloc8 Estate Agents have agreed to support the club in such a prominent role.
“Reloc8 are a fantastic company who have really developed their presence in the market in recent years and are a very dynamic business.
“Growing our relationships with local companies is vital to our new business model as a club, we have enjoyed some great interaction with a number of firms in recent months and we want the club to become a pillar of the local business community.”
Terribly misleading headline, Oldham are Vanarama National League, not Football league
