Fine & Country is offering agents the option of setting up a lettings service without having to have a lettings division of their own after partnering with asset management firm Complete RPI.
This means that agents within the network will now have an opportunity to branch out into offering lettings and full management to landlords.
Nicky Stevenson, MD of Fine & Country, said: “As a specialist property management company, Complete RPI will be able to take care of every step of the process for the agent, providing centralised portfolio management to landlords, which in turn will help Fine & Country agents to win more business.
“Whilst we have licensees in the network offering lettings already, there are many that do not due to the ever-increasing legislation, and administration work involved. You really do need to be an expert in lettings, which is why in partnering with Complete RPI, our whole network will be in a position to offer lettings and management, knowing their clients are in safe hands with our partner Complete RPI.”
She continued: “As we recognise an increasing number of ‘start up’ licensees, and associates joining the network, being able to offer a quality letting and management service with Complete RPI means our agents can offer a full service from day one, whilst importantly generating revenue into their business quickly while they wait for their sales pipeline to bear fruit.”
Rupert Smith, managing director of Complete RPI, says his firm, which was established in 2001, will be able to consolidate landlords’ portfolios, even if they have properties managed by other agents.
Smith commented: “Through our partnership with Fine & Country we will be helping the ‘accidental landlord’, as well as the seasoned investor, by looking after their largest assets. We also offer a strategic review where we can evaluate their portfolios, look at the length of ownership and how much it has grown in value, what their funding is and whether the portfolio is actually meeting the desired objectives.
“If necessary, we will be able to complete a restructure of the portfolio, reassessing how it is funded and exit the investor’s position for stock that isn’t necessarily matching the criteria they set out from the get-go. This is the exact service we currently provide to high-net-worth individual investors, worldwide.”
