EYE Poll: Will your agency encourage mask-wearing from Monday?

Face coverings in shops and public transport will no longer be a legal requirement in England from Monday.

In Scotland and Wales, face masks will remain compulsory in most public indoor settings in the next phase of easing coronavirus restrictions – which is on 19 July for Scotland and 7 August for Wales.

The rules around face coverings in Northern Ireland are expected to be considered next month, but early signs are that they will be eased.

Although wearing face masks will no longer be a legal requirement in England, some experts point out that they typically reduce transmission by about 25% – if everyone wears them.

Recent polling suggests, despite the change in the law, the majority of people will continue to wear face coverings in public setting, but will you and your colleagues? Let us know, by taking part in this poll:

experts point out that they typically reduce transmission by about 25% – if everyone wears them‘. Absolute nonsense. If you’re going to make a claim like that, suggest you reference it with peer-reviewed research. I won’t hold my breath.

Perhaps you should hold your breath if you’re not going to wear a mask then.
