Estate agent hoping for Challenge Cup success as he prepares to face Wigan Warriors

Former Leeds Rhinos Super League player, Adam Cuthbertson, who recently joined Preston Baker estate agents in York, is preparing to face Wigan Warriors in the Challenge Cup.

Cuthbertson, who is approaching his 300th career game now plays for York City Knights, having joined from Newcastle Knights. He has enjoyed previous success in the competition with Leeds Rhinos.

The Australian prop won the cup for the first time as his team went on to complete the treble in 2015. Cuthbertson also lifted the cup again with Rhinos at Wembley last year.

Aside from play rugby, the 36-year-old also now work for Preston Baker estate agents in the Minster City.

“It will be really good for the club, especially being at that new stadium, and to get a Super League team there with such a history like Wigan as well,” he said.

Cuthbertson added: “Friday will be another really good test. Everyone wants to win; everyone wants to get to Wembley.”

Off the field,  Cuthbertson joined Preston Baker earlier this year, which has presented him with a new challenge.

He told the press: “I’m working for Preston Baker real estate agents so I’m doing some nine ‘til five work nowadays!

“It has been tough, if I’m honest. It’s just getting that balance between work, rugby and family life but I am enjoying it.”
