Estate agent charged with 32 offences of fraud and money laundering

A former estate agent has been accused of  multiple matters of fraud and money laundering running into hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Russell Baker, 57, of Newton Abbot, Devon, appeared at Torquay Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The court heard that he was accused of 32 offences.

Baker did not enter a plea.

He was remanded on conditional bail until Friday, July 24, when a trial will take place at Exeter Crown Court.
