Jeremy Corbyn’s north London home has reportedly gone under offer after a series of asking-price reductions.
The three-bedroom Finsbury Park property came to market with Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward in March at £800,000.
The estate agency cut the asking price to £780,000 in April and then to £750,000 in May.
It subsequently invited offers over £700,000, with the property now understood to be under offer.
The final sale price will not become known until the transaction completes and Land Registry records the deal.
Corbyn, who now sits as an independent MP who is calling for the government to introduce rent controls, bought the terraced property for £363,000 in 2007, according to Land Registry records.
The latest marketing campaign is not the first attempt to sell the former Labour leader’s home.
Reports in 2023 said the property had come to market for just under £1m but failed to sell.
The latest listing describes the three-storey house as “charming and spacious”. It includes three bedrooms and a 26ft rear garden.
The property has an EPC rating of D and uses gas heating and a gas boiler.
Corbyn, MP for Islington North, has lived in the property since 2007.
The property previously attracted attention during his time as Labour leader. In 2018, Islington Council refused an application to extend the front of the house.
