The Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities (DHLUC) has delayed publishing an updated version of the How to Rent Guide.
The revised guide was supposed to be launched last Friday, but it will now be published this week.
It is understood that the government will now publish the latest How To Rent document on Friday 24 March.
Nathan Emerson, CEO of Propertymark, commented: “It’s vital that agents have clarity to ensure they issue the latest version of the document.
“We will continue to work with the UK government and inform the industry of any further updates.”
