OTM has not released figures for some time.

However, OTM is focusing on a figure of 7,500 branches, a mixture of contracted branches and those that have signed letters of intent once overall support reaches that number of overall support.

The new figures come as financial website Motley Fool has hailed Rightmove’s market share and “insanely high margins”. The piece says that “Rightmove’s first mover advantage and 77% market share”  have left OnTheMarket in the dust and tht Rightmove has little chance of being dislodged. Analyst Ian Pierce says that Rightmove “will continue to be a persistent thorn in the side of traditional estate agents” and is popular with its shareholders.
