Conveyancing distributor Conveybuddy donated a record £9,747 to its three charity partners during the second quarter of the year, driven by increased adviser activity on its platform.
Contributions are linked to completed conveyancing cases, with Conveybuddy donating up to £5 per case. The funds are shared between the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Rainbows Hospice and Food Bank Aid, with advisers using the platform able to choose which charity they support.
The donation is the largest made by the company since it launched its charitable giving initiative. Conveybuddy said the increase in donations reflected growth in adviser registrations and transaction volumes during the quarter.
Harpal Singh, chief executive of Conveybuddy, said: “When we launched Conveybuddy, we were clear we wanted there to be a real and significant charity element to what we do. One which our adviser users could determine and one which highlighted, and supported, the great work of charities that make a real difference to lots of people right across the UK.
“We are pleased to be able to say that the donations we have made this quarter were the highest amount since we began on this journey. This is down to the growth in our adviser user numbers and the work they are instructing through us. We’d like to thank them for choosing to work with us and the difference they are making in doing so.”
For every completed case submitted through the platform, Conveybuddy contributes up to £5, with donations distributed to the three charities every three months.
