LRG expands shared ownership division
Martin Fillery has joined Leaders Romans Group (LRG) as a director within its growing shared ownership team.
Fillery will work with LRG’s steadily increasing number of housing association clients while also focusing on the expansion of the firm’s services to this sector.
He is an active member of the National Sales Group, a housing sector membership organisation which promotes shared ownership and the work of housing providers among political and financial audiences, with the aim of ensuring that shared ownership is recognised as a the fourth mainstream tenure.
Fillery has previously worked as a sales negotiator and sales manager for a number of housing associations, including L&Q, A2Dominion and Hyde New Homes. More recently, he helped to build the shared ownership team at Currell alongside Adrian Plant, who also now work for LRG.
Plant said: “We [along with Fillery] are both passionate about helping first-time buyers realise their dreams of getting on the property ladder and have a great synergy.

Davidson Estates adds to its new homes team
Cliff Wong, a senior sales negotiator with more than 12 years’ experience has been recruited by Davidson Estates as the Birmingham company’s New Homes department continues to grow.
Wong has joined the company from Martin & Co, and previously worked for more than a decade at property specialist Teamfull Enterprises in Hong Kong.
Wong is now one of four staff in the New Homes department at Davidson Estates’ branch office at 102 Colmore Row, in the heart of Birmingham’s professional business quarter.
Ben Davidson, managing director of Davidson Estates, explained that Wong has now joined himself, newly promoted head of New Homes Jon Smith, digital marketing manager Luke Croft-Faulkner and a property assistant on the New Homes team.
Davidson said: “We are delighted to have appointed Cliff to our new homes team after he impressed us in his interview with the range and depth of his experience.
“He is a driven and energetic property consultant with more than 10 years’ experience in real estate in Hong Kong, as well as local experience here in Birmingham.
“Cliff has already shown himself to be highly adept at building excellent working relationships with teammates, lenders, valuers, surveyors and solicitors, as well as being very focused on providing excellent customer service.
“Despite the economic challenges, new homes are still attracting interest here in Birmingham with multiple developments across the city centre, particularly around the Jewellery Quarter, the city centre core and Digbeth.
“Cliff’s appointment and the great work by Luke at marketing the opportunities across social media are continuing to increase our sales and lettings.”
Knight Frank appoints new head of central London property management
Knight Frank has appointed Andrew Child as its new head of central London property management.
In his new role, Child, who joins Knight Frank from JLL, will work closely with Michael Lewis, head of property & asset management, and leverage his experience in the central London office market to further expand the existing central London property management team.
Michael Lewis, head of property & asset management at Knight Frank, commented: “His [Child’s] insights will allow investors to unlock the value of their portfolios.”
