Directorate change at Purplebricks

Ait Voncke has joined the Purplebricks board as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Ait is the Axel Springer board representative and replaces Dr Stephanie Caspar, who steps down from the board with immediate effect.

Voncke joined AVIV Group, which comprises Axel Springer’s online classifieds offering for real estate, as CEO in January 2021. Prior to AVIV, Ait served as senior vice president and general manager at Expedia Group after being a part of the founding team of Groupon in Europe.

Voncke began his career at Accenture where he spent over a decade advising technology companies globally and latterly founding the Internet, Media and Technology team for Accenture in Austria.

Paul Pindar, Chairman, commented: “Ait’s background and experience in the real estate sector will bring additional strategic insights and contributions to the Company. I would also like to thank Stephanie for her service over the last two years on the Purplebricks board”.

 

haart’s new area partner joins from Connells

haart’s new Area Partner for Wolverhampton and Telford has his sights set on growing the business’ market share.

Gagan Kohli, 40, has joined haart from Connells where he was a Senior Branch Manager.

“My top priorities are building market share together with a strong and trustworthy brand at both my branches by providing great customer service and always acting in the best interest of the clients,” he said.

Gagan, who has 15 years’ industry experience, working for Connells and SKITT, started his career as a trainee negotiator.

“I wanted to join Spicerhaart as they are one of the leading independent estate agency groups in the UK with a great family ethos,” he added.

Kerry-Ann Davies, estate agency director – Butters John Bee and West Midlands, said: “I am very excited to have Gagan on board, we have some fantastic plans to implement which will really grow the haart brand in and around Wolverhampton – exciting times ahead.”

 

High-profile hires for Yorkshire-based firm

Barnsdales in Doncaster has hired Andrew Turner as associate director and James Humphreys as surveyor, with Gareth Farmer taking on directorship of sister firm Barnsdales FM.

The last financial year saw Doncaster-based Barnsdales Group record its biggest turnover since the company was founded in 1905, with valuations and panel appointments seeing the biggest increases in demand.#

As a group, Barnsdales offers a range of residential and commercial services including property management, lettings and building surveys, operating nationwide.

Managing director of Barnsdales Group, Jason Barnsdale, said: “With the UK property market going from strength to strength, now more than ever the region needs the expertise and experience of seasoned industry professionals. That’s why I’m delighted to welcome Andrew, James and Gareth to our growing team, helping us to provide even greater support to our portfolio of clients across the country.”

Barnsdales Group employs a team of more than 60 property professionals and has offices in Doncaster, Sheffield, Manchester, Lincoln, London and Cirencester.

      Oracle-here is someone who wants to further their career and probably excited to see themselves in a PIE Comings and Goings post. A lad that looks to me on his way up.You however post a snide remark which is both pointless and adds no value whats so ever.
