Chestertons promotes Jordana Miles to head of short lets

Chestertons has promoted Jordana Miles to head of short lets, almost a year after she joined the agency as business development manager within the division.
Short lets arranged by the team, which she will now head up, typically run for around two-and-a-half to three months.
Miles said: “A property can still be well suited to the sales market even if it hasn’t found the right buyer yet.
“Owners don’t necessarily have to leave it empty and absorb the costs while they wait. We can assess the demand for a short let, prepare the property and generate income while keeping the sales strategy in view.”
Miles works across Chestertons’ 35 London branches, alongside local sales and lettings teams, to identify properties suitable for short-term tenancies.
She joined Chestertons in October 2025 after spending more than five years at Draker Lettings. Her previous experience includes the short-let markets in Sloane Square, Notting Hill and Fulham.
She also previously managed a team of eight negotiators at Draker’s Chelsea and Kensington branch.
Katinka Hill, head of lettings at Chestertons, commented: “Jordana has been a driving force in our Short Lets team, combining real passion and focus with considerable expertise.
“She has a clear grasp of what the service offers owners and occupants alike, and through close collaboration with colleagues across the business, she has made it easier than ever for clients to use this flexible option.”
Hill added that Miles had also helped the team and its clients navigate changes introduced by the Renters’ Rights Act.
Savills hires new director to strengthen property management team

Savills has appointed Adam De Acetis as a director within its Property Management division as it looks to expand its work with private clients.
De Acetis joins the division’s portfolio team, where he will focus on developing its offering for property companies, private investors, family offices and high-net-worth individuals.
He brings experience across property management, strategic asset management, lease advisory and real estate development.
His previous work has included developing asset business plans, overseeing value-add initiatives and working with landlords and occupiers on portfolio strategies.
At Savills, De Acetis will work with the existing team to develop property and portfolio-level strategies for private clients, while also identifying opportunities to grow that part of the business.
John Redfern, head of UK Business Space, Property Management at Savills, said: “Adam brings extensive experience of working closely with a range of property owners and investors to improve portfolio performance.
“His commercial approach and understanding of private clients will bring great value to our clients and team, while helping us to identify and develop new opportunities for continued growth.”
De Acetis added: “I am excited to be joining Savills and the opportunities to work with colleagues across the business to develop strategies that add value, address challenges and help clients maximise the performance of their assets and portfolios.”
Property developer strengthens senior team with three appointments

Macclesfield-based property developer and investor Views has made three senior appointments as it looks to expand its investment and housebuilding operations.
Rob Haynes joins as head of acquisitions, while Andrew Turnbull takes on the newly created role of delivery director. Simon Newby has also been appointed senior contracts manager.
Haynes will oversee the sourcing and execution of investment deals, working directly with Views co-founder and co-chief executive Shoaib Muhammad.
He has worked in the property sector since 2010, with previous roles at MCR Property Group and Delph.
Muhammad said: “Our investment business focuses on finding opportunities where we can create value through active asset management, refurbishment and repositioning.
“Rob’s appointment strengthens our ability to source and execute those transactions, while building lasting relationships with agents, owners and investment partners.”
Meanwhile, Turnbull will take responsibility for housebuilding projects from acquisition through to completion.
Newby joins from Vistry Group, where he spent nine years. He has 22 years of housebuilding experience and will oversee on-site delivery across Views’ housing developments. His responsibilities will also include health and safety.
The appointments come as Views prepares to expand its development activity. The company has a pipeline of more than 240 homes scheduled to start on site by 2027.
Shujaat Rasool, co-chief executive of Views, said the recruitment follows a year of changes across the business.
He commented: “The company turns eight at the end of this year and, with respect to a number of advancements across both sides of the business, the time was right to solidify operations with new talent.
“We’re part-way through a pivotal time for the group and the collective knowledge and skills of our recent hires will complement our existing team as we continue delivering on our growing pipeline.
