Knight Frank appoints new head of Winchester office
Knight Frank has appointed Jane Kennerley as head of their Winchester office.
Kennerley joins Knight Frank with over 30 years of experience in the property industry, starting off her career in prime central London and then in 2012, moving to Savills’ Hampshire and the South Coast team. Her extensive experience in two different markets provides her clients with the highest levels of service.
In her new role, Kennerley will be responsible for running the sales department across the urban market in Winchester and the surrounding villages, driving the firm’s market share and managing a team of negotiators. She will also be working alongside Edward Cunningham, George Clarendon and Hattie Young, in the firm’s Country Department to handle some of the area’s most prestigious properties.
Kennerley commented: “Having both lived and worked in Winchester for 25 years, I believe I am well equipped to service this market. I understand the needs of clients already living within the vibrant city itself, as well as those looking to move into it from the surrounding areas and London.”
Kraig Butler joins Strutt & Parker from Hamptons
Strutt & Parker has announced the appointment of Kraig Butler as director and head of residential sales in the agency’s Gerrards Cross office – marking a significant move following 24 years at Hamptons.
Having previously headed up offices in Maidenhead, Rickmansworth and Amersham, Butler brings over two decades of experience in the north-west Home Counties to Strutt & Parker.
Butler will be working closely with the established residential sales team in Gerrards Cross, who cover both the town and surrounding villages. The Gerrards Cross office has a well-established presence in the area following the firm’s acquisition of local agents Roberts Newby in 2015. Alongside sales colleagues, Butler will work with the office’s lettings team, New Homes teams, and the London based National Country House Department.
Simon Roberts, head of Eastern Region at Strutt & Parker, says, “We are thrilled to have such a well-regarded name joining us to lead our Gerrards Cross office. His experience across the region will no doubt prove invaluable to the team as we look to only strengthen and broaden our coverage in the area. Kraig’s knowledge and proven track record makes him a fantastic asset to both our business and our clients across the region.”
Butler commented: “Having operated in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire for over two decades, I have long admired the Strutt & Parker brand and have enjoyed occasions where we have worked collaboratively. To now be leading the Strutt & Parker Gerrards Cross office is an exciting opportunity, and I’m fortunate to be inheriting such a superb team with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Together we endeavour to further strengthen our proposition to clients in Gerrards Cross and the South Bucks and Chilterns region.”
