Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices announces senior promotions
After a decade of service at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in London, Joe Le Beau has been promoted from sales manager to sales director.
Le Beau is now responsible for overseeing sales across all four offices – Hyde Park, Marylebone, Kings Cross and Knightsbridge, following the recent acquisition of Marler & Marler.
Oliver Ingles, who has been a senior sales advisor for almost two years, will now bring his knowledge and expertise into his new role as sales manager for Hyde Park.
Meanwhile, current head of lettings Matt Staton will see his remit extended to encompass the new Marler & Marler office in Knightsbridge.

Beresfords Group adds to land and new homes team
Beresfords Group has made several new appointments to the company’s growing workforce, and in particular the expansion of its land and new homes team.
Of special note is the arrival of two new senior land directors, Richard Bray and Ross Morley.
Bray, who started his career training as a chartered surveyor and valuer in 1997, joins Beresfords Group as development director.
In 2015, Bray switched career paths and began working in land acquisition and project management for housebuilders and niche developers. He will now work closely with a number of developers and housing associations to source new land opportunities and advise in the promotion of strategic land interests.
Meanwhile, Morley joins Beresfords Group as land director and will use his experience to identify development opportunities, both with and without planning permission, to then work closely with housebuilders and developers to secure them.
He has extensive experience and knowledge in land acquisition and planning, having started his career some 29 years ago.
In addition to these external appointments, Beresfords Group has continued its policy of promoting talent within the business.
Joe Waller has moved up from new homes consultant to assistant new homes manager at Beresfords Group after six years with the firm.
Continuing the dedication to this new area of growth for the company, Ben Kohler has also joined the team as new homes apprentice.
Ringley Group appoints new managing director
Residential property consultancy Ringley Group has appointed a new managing director to its build-to-rent (BTR) division, as the company aims to keep growing its exposure to the rapidly-expanding sector.
Ian Barber has been working within the property industry for more 18 years across various disciplines, most recently at Landmark, and will help lead Life by Ringley, which advises investors and operators across the whole lifecycle of a BTR asset, from design and planning through to lease-up, operations and disposal.
Prior to his time at Landmark, Barber managed the Hunters office in Manchester.
Based in Ringley Group’s Manchester office, Barber will focus on growing Life by Ringley’s client base while also supporting the mobilisation and operations of mandated BTR schemes across the north of England and the Midlands.
He said: “Ringley Group boasts a deep knowledge of all things residential and the firm has a forward-thinking approach to technology and innovation that will chime with many in the build-to-rent space.
“Working out of the Group’s Manchester office, I aim to drive Ringley’s continued expansion in the regions while also supporting existing clients in the launch and operations of their schemes.”
Mary-Anne Bowring, group managing director at Ringley, commented: “While house prices have grabbed all the lines, Britain’s build-to-rent sector has gone from strength to strength, with an increasing number of operational schemes and more investors looking to deploy capital.
