Kingsley Napley announces partner promotion 

Law firm Kingsley Napley has announced that Vanessa Rhodes has being promoted to the role of partner in the Real Estate & Construction team.

Rhodes’ practice spans residential and commercial and residential property. She acts for high-net worth individuals, investors, developers, landlords and tenants on a wider range of property related matters including residential sales and purchases in central London; the acquisition and disposal of residential property developments; commercial lettings; property financing and portfolio management.

She will be joining four other partners in Kingsley Napley’s Real Estate & Construction team and has worked at the firm for more than 10 years.

The promotion brings the total number of partners at the firm to 69, and follows the recent arrival of four lateral hires to the partnership this year, including Peter Metcalfe in the Real Estate & Construction division.

 

Tanya Atkinson joins Bruton Knowles 

National Chartered Surveyors Bruton Knowles has appointed Tanya Atkinson as a core valuer.

With almost 10 years’ experience in the property industry, Atkinson will provide Red Book valuation advice predominantly for loan security valuation purposes, across both residential and commercial properties.

She commented: “Bruton Knowles is a well-established property consultancy with a strong history behind them. They’re dynamic and respected in the industry, working with some very high profile clients.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team, providing specialist Valuation services to the businesses growing client base.”

Atkinson will be based in Gloucester and focus on clients in the South West, working remotely whilst travelling across the region to visit client’s properties.

She added: “Bruton Knowles has offered me the opportunity to work remotely – it’s encouraging to see the business embrace this new way of working and it hasn’t stopped me from regularly communicating with the team – everyone has been very welcoming, friendly and supportive.”

 

Sonya Wyke joins Eccord as head of property management

Eccord, formerly SP Property Group, has appointed a new head of property management as part of the company’s continued expansion.

Sonya Wyke, a senior property expert with over 20 years’ experience in relocation and management, joins founder by Jo Eccles, to head up the property management division, which currently oversees the management and maintenance of more than £1.5bn of rental properties and private homes in prime central London.

Wyke previously held senior roles at BGRS and Santa Fe Relocation where she was responsible for overseeing corporate relocations as well as managing client relationships for corporate clients.

She said: “The portfolio of properties under management is hugely impressive and includes homes on some of the most prestigious addresses in the capital. I look forward to working with the team to grow the portfolio further whilst continuing to deliver an exceptional level of service to our clients.”

Wyke’s appointment follows the recent arrival of Aisha Ahmed who joined Eccord earlier this year as a senior property manager.

Eccles commented: “We have significantly grown our property management business in recent years and have had a particularly busy start to 2021 having been appointed to manage serval new prime and super-prime rental properties and private homes in central London.”
