Fine & Country licensees elect their new representatives to its NAC
Fine & Country UK licensees have elected their new representatives to its National Advisory Council (NAC).
The Fine & Country network is divided into eight regions throughout the UK, namely London, South West, South East, Wales, East Anglia, North West, Midlands and North East.
Every two years the regions hold an election where a licence owner from within that region is elected to serve on the NAC.
Graham Wilson, chairman of the NAC, commented: “It is great to welcome new and old faces back to the NAC from across the country for the next two-year term.
“As the driving force of the network our primary purpose is to mentor, advise and guide the brand.
“Our duties are to promote, protect and advance the national network, identify new technologies and marketing initiatives.”
The NAC plays an important role within the brand by ensuring that the decisions made are representative of and beneficial to the entire network and their customers, according to Nicky Stevenson, managing director of Fine & Country UK.
She said: “We have a remarkable calibre of property professionals within the Fine & Country network, many with decades of experience within the industry who are on hand to mentor and work within established and new licensees across the UK.
“The feedback and suggestions voiced by the representatives of the NAC is a way of tapping into the experience and knowledge within the network to drive the brand forward and continue making informed decisions that will help us grow and evolve.” she says.
Chaired by Graham Wilson, Fine & Country Northern Lincolnshire, the new NAC members are:
Mark Manning – North East representative
Mark Gilbertson – North West representative
Simon Bradbury – East Anglia representative
Jan von Draczek – Midlands representative
Joe Parry – Wales representative
Ben Madden – London representative
Napoleon Wilcox – South West representative
Colin J Shairp – South East representative
Principle appoints specialist property manager
Principle Estate Management in Birmingham has recruited a specialist property manager to handle some of its complex schemes and also some smaller properties.
Sadduf Houston, who previously worked at Curry & Partners and CPBigwood, is Principle’s 11th recruit this year, taking total staff numbers to 26.
Brett Williams, managing director of Principle, said Houston will look after some of the company’s specialist developments, including Viceroy Close in Birmingham which she previously handled when the estate was managed by CPBigwood.
He commented: “Sadduf is a conscientious and skilful property manager which is exactly what we want as she will fit well into the growing team here at Principle.
“The way she previously looked after Viceroy Close is a great example of her quality, as she was very popular with the residents’ association there which has regularly asked about her since we took over that estate’s management 18 months ago.
“Viceroy is a complicated development and is in a phase of long-term planning for a full review of all buildings maintenance and the significant amount of mechanical and electrical equipment on site.”
Williams added: “With such a lot going on, it is perfect timing for Sadduf to join Principle with her existing experience of the development and her knowledge of customers’ expectations.”
