Sapphire Estate Agents, now part of the Waterfords group
Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire agency, Waterfords, has acquired Sapphire Estate Agents which was established in 2002 by directors Colin Keating and Andrew Darling.
Over the past 18 years they have built a well-established sales, lettings and property management agency in Sunninghill, Berkshire.
Waterfords Managing Director, Brendan Cox, said:

The acquisition comes as Waterfords celebrates its 25th year in business in September 2020.
New Group Head of Marketing at Simplify
Simplify, the UK’s largest conveyancing and property services group, has appointed Mark Howell as Group Head of Marketing.
Howell, with over 20 years’ experience in financial services has helped build Pink Home Loans, Bristol & West Mortgages and Bank of Ireland Mortgages to strong brand positions in the market.
Recently he has also spent time with leading fintech bank OakNorth and helped a new to market retirement interest-only lender in preparation for launch.

F&C licence to open in West Wales
Fine & Country’s newest licence opens in West Wales on 1st September and will be run by Nigel Salmon [no relation to EYE’s managing editor].
Over the past 12 years, Nigel has grown his existing business into an award-winning company specialising in finding the right property for their clientele and he hopes to emulate his success in West Wales, combining his expertise with the backing of an established premium estate agency brand.
