Cluttons has announced strong results for the year ended March 31, 2014, and said that it is planning further expansion this year – its 250th anniversary.
Turnover was up by 11% at £41.2m with profits before tax up 36% to £10.9m. Net debt was reduced during the year from £1.85m to £0.66m.
Cluttons has also reported a “significant” international expansion programme with a presence now established in over 50 countries including the Middle East.
It was also a good year for new contract wins including a four-year deal to provide lease administration services for Telefónica and Vodafone’s mobile networks across the UK, and being appointed to manage the Diocese of London’s portfolio of over 160 properties held for investment.
John Wood, managing partner at Cluttons, said: “The year ended March 2014 was an excellent one for Cluttons.
“Our success is enabling us to win larger mandates in the UK and internationally as well as helping us to attract a high calibre of new people.
“This year we have reinvested a significant proportion of our profits to support the continued growth of our business.”
Bill Siegle, senior partner at Cluttons, said: “Cluttons has always been a forward-thinking firm and we will continue to invest in our future as we enter our 250th anniversary year in 2015.
“In addition to celebrations to mark the achievement we also have new branches, more senior hires, and further UK and international expansion planned.”
