CIELA announces new partnership with review site Feefo

Aspirant new trade body CIELA, the Charter for Independent Estate and Letting Agents, has announced a partnership with Feefo, the global consumer review site used by Google to power its star rating system.

Accepted as the “most trusted review site in the world,” Feefo does not allow changes, moderation or removal of reviews, all of which are only placed by genuine customers.

CIELA said yesterday that the home moving public’s biggest challenge is knowing how to choose the best local agent and that it has been formed to improve the industry’s reputation, especially for independent agents.

It said it was delighted to welcome Feefo as its headline brand partner for the remainder of the pre-launch period up to October 1.

CIELA founder Charles Wright said: “Feefo’s service complements CIELA’s objectives very well.

“In the battle to educate the public as to what good agents really do, Feefo is helping those agents who deliver the best personal service to build a strong online reputation.

“Eventually this will help combat the glossy corporate marketing that misleads so many people into instructing the wrong agent.

“Feefo will be in attendance at all of our forthcoming CIELA Decision-Makers’ Debates, which are free to owners of independent agencies, beginning with Manchester on Wednesday [June 21] next week.”

    Hope someone from CIELA is reading this;

    Can you please tell us what the latest progress is with your complaint about the recent PB TV adverts?

    Feefo, unless it has changed recently is a waste of time, as the business controls to whom the review email is sent?  why would any business send a review email to those customers who have had a bad experience?

    Tripadvisor is one of the best review sites as most people login with their FB account and you have stats on the number of reviews that person has made.
