Chestertons has today underlined its commitment to its franchise offering.
The firm launched into franchising last May, having appointed Gavin Vercoe and Derrick Maguire to develop the offering both internationally and across the UK outside London.
Maguire, formerly of Martin & Co and Belvoir, was responsible for Chestertons’ franchising in the UK. However he left within months and is now CEO at European firm Luxfair Realty.
He was replaced last October by Jamie McMullan.
The vastly experienced McMullan joined from Sotheby’s International Realty. He is former managing director of franchising at Hunters, and before that was franchise development director at Countrywide, helping build up the Bairstow Eves brand
As chief operating officer at Chestertons, he is responsible for franchising in both the UK and Europe.
David Russell, who was also with Sotheby’s International Realty, has been announced as the new chief marketing officer for global franchising and new homes.
The pair are working in the international team at Chestertons, alongside Vercoe and CEO of global franchising Nick Witty.
Chestertons chairman Salah Mussa said that the firm has a “continued commitment” to strengthening its global franchise proposition.
