The Good Estate Agent is reducing their franchise fee for Black Friday and next week’s Cyber Monday, although it remains to be seen if the reductions will be permanent as the company looks to expand nationwide.
Fees normally start from £10,000, but founder Rob Bryer is inviting agents looking to buy their own estate agency franchise to simply make him an offer.
The Good Estate Agent franchise, which launched in 2010, is targeting 100 new franchisees in 2022.
A statement from the company said: “Now is the perfect time to reserve your territory and get up and running in January.
“We truly believe we are the best hybrid franchise offering available and the only franchise to offer you an 18-month success guarantee.
“When you purchase a franchise through family run company The Good Estate Agent, you receive ongoing training and support, access to an online property management and applicant management system, administrative support, call handling, a website, advertising and more.”
Franchise owners keep 80% of sales & lettings fees, with 75% of the property management fee going straight in their pocket.
Property management is handled by head office rather than the franchise owner themselves.
“Make me an offer”, said the franchise owner.
A ten grand fee? No thanks.
Give me twenty and I’ll think about it.

Keep 80% of fees? So pay 20% of turnover in franchise fees? Wow! Have I read that right?
