Property professionals are being offered free guidance on changes to anti-money laundering regulations and updated HMRC requirements.

AML specialist FCS Compliance will hold a webinar on Wednesday 23 September.

The session will examine recent changes to the Money Laundering Regulations (MLRs). It will also cover updates to HMRC guidance.

The hour-long webinar starts at 1pm and will focus on questions from attendees.

It follows an earlier event covering the regulatory changes. FCS Compliance said that session generated further questions from property professionals.

Many focused on how businesses should apply the changes in practice.

Stephen Williamson, lead AML consultant at FCS Compliance, will host the webinar alongside senior AML consultant Jen Siwicki.

Williamson said: “The changes to the Money Laundering Regulations, together with HMRC’s updated guidance, represent one of the most significant periods of change to the AML framework affecting the property sector in recent years.

“Our last webinar generated a considerable number of follow-up questions from property professionals, particularly around how the changes should be applied in practice.

“This webinar is an opportunity for people to put those questions directly to us.”
