Foxtons shareholders have approved a new executive share incentive scheme, despite almost one in five votes being cast against the proposals.

At a general meeting, the listed estate agency group secured shareholder approval for its 2026 Performance Share Plan (PSP), alongside proposed awards to its chief executive and chief financial officer.

All three resolutions passed with support of just over 82% of votes cast.

However, opposition remained consistent across the proposals, with approximately 17.6% of votes cast against each resolution.

Shareholders back executive incentive scheme

The new performance share plan received support from 82.41% of votes cast, while 17.59% opposed it.

The proposed award to the chief executive secured 82.37% support, with 17.63% voting against.

Shareholders backed the chief financial officer’s proposed award by the same percentages.

The results suggest a sizeable minority of voting shareholders remain unconvinced by the arrangements, although the company secured the required majority for all three resolutions.
