Agents Giving Day is approaching and here is how you can get involved!

Agents are being encouraged to do their bit to combat poverty by donating parcels to food banks.

Agents Giving Day is approaching on June 21 and will support foodbanks run by The Trussell Trust charity.

Those working in the agency sector are being asked to prepare a simple food parcel to donate to their local foodbank for the occasion.

Your office could also act as a collection point for any food donations.

Peter Knight, chairman of Agents Giving, said: “We are encouraging everyone to support their foodbank this Agents Giving Day.

“By simply donating a food parcel it can help make such a difference to those living and going hungry in our local communities.”

You can tell Agents Giving which foodbank you are supporting by registering at: http://agentsgiving.org/pt-event/21st-june-2018-agents-giving-day and find your local foodbank at: https://www.trusselltrust.org/get-help/find-a-foodbank/

What a great idea. A simple and practical way of supporting those in our local communities who really need help. Offering to use our own local high street branches to act as a collection point for food donations is something that not all estate agency models are capable of.

I know that Relocation Agent Network offices around the country will be really promoting this initiative and are aiming to collect a LOT of food for people in their own areas.

Good luck to everyone participating in this appeal. Let’s make a difference!
