Agents Giving is hosting a charity golf day in Cheshire a week today, on May 21, where estate agents across the UK will raise money for good causes while perfecting their game.

Agents and suppliers to the industry who have signed up include LSL Property Services, Reeds Rains, Your Move, Gascoigne Halman, myhomemove, Reapit, Ravensworth and Atlas Displays.

Charity prizes awarded on the day are for the top three highest scoring teams; longest drive; nearest the pin; and best-dressed.

The dubious accolade of ‘worst drive’ will also be awarded and there will be a ‘beat-the-pro’ competition to top things off. Further funds will be raised during the evening through a charity auction.

Last year the event raised over £3,500 for good causes.

Agents Giving has also announced a new national event – Agents Giving Day – to be held on June 21.

The aim is to raise money for agents’ own favourite causes, or undertake practical work for their local communities. Agents Giving will top up agents’ donations by up to £500.
