On Friday, 1st December, the staff at Fine & Country Droitwich Spa are set to spread holiday cheer by hosting a Christmas-themed fancy dress charity walk from their office to Worcester city centre.
Led by Vanessa Bradford, the 6.3-mile walk has been organised to raise funds for homeless charities within the local area via The Fine & Country Foundation – an organisation dedicated to fighting against the afflictions of poverty and homelessness.
The charitable event will kick off at 3pm at the Fine & Country Droitwich Spa office, where Bradford and her team will be welcoming participants and well-wishers by serving mince pies and mulled wine. Participants are encouraged to don Santa hats and reindeer antlers.
“In March, we raised £3,000 for The Foundation at a charity disco and auction event,” said Bradford. “We are hoping to follow on from our success and raise a good amount of money again, which will go some way in buying and distributing Christmas gifts to the homeless throughout December.”
Jon Cooke, trustee of The Fine & Country Foundation, commended the ongoing support from agents within the Fine & Country network, including the Droitwich Spa team.
“The astounding generosity from the Fine & Country network and the public, exemplified by events like this charity walk, allows us to continue our mission,” he said.
A donation to the event can be made by visiting the JustGiving page.
