Fisher German makes promotions across the business

Fisher German has made 21 promotions across the business – including three partner promotions – as part of its career progression framework, which gives colleagues a continual pathway for professional development.

Yan Gittins, who has led the West Midlands region for the last 10 years, has progressed to a B Partner.

Matthew Hodgetts, also based in Worcester, has been invited to join the equity partnership as a C Partner.

Matthew Trewartha, based in Ashby de la Zouch, has also been invited to join the equity partnership and will become a C Partner.

The announcement comes as the firm marks the formal business merger with Vine Property Management, which manages 51 million sq ft of retail, industrial and office property, following a deal in 2020. The merger brings almost 100 new colleagues into Fisher German with offices from Glasgow to Southampton.

TFL announces new senior appointments 

PropTech company Technology Blueprint Ltd (TBL) has announced two new senior global appointments.

Munish Khurmi

Munish Khurmi joins TBL as head of delivery, working on all projects as the conduit between TBL’s IT team and clients to plan and deliver better results.

He has more than 20 years’ of experience delivering business transformation across the full software lifecycle, for brands like Halfords, EDS and Accenture.

Khrmi has successfully overseen strategic portfolio plans delivering an average of 65 tech projects per year with a capital spend of £20m+ for clients with as many as 5,000 staff spread over 800 sites.

Amit Sharma joins TBL as director of account management and business development, with a focus on optimising customer experience.

Sharma’s forensic approach to customer satisfaction developed by managing clients like Countrywide Residential, VISA and American Express for Teleperformance.

Stuart Ledwich, technology director of TBL, said: “Munish comes in with a whole stack of technology experience and a background in delivering both waterfall and agile projects, facing into parallel scrums with the support of our colleagues in India. His skills and experience add in to our delivery of rapid innovation and change agendas of size and scale that are incomparable in our market.

“Amit’s experience of managing multi-million-pound client portfolios and spearheading change brings huge value to TBL’s clients and we are delighted to welcome him to the senior team in India.

Andrew Dobson joins St. Modwen

St. Modwen has announced the appointment of Andrew Dobson as senior director – Strategic Land & Planning to support the ongoing development of major residential schemes and drive future initiatives.

In this role, Dobson will focus on identifying and promoting sites to develop as the company continues to bring forward strategic land across the UK that will ultimately feed its St. Modwen Homes and St. Modwen Logistics businesses.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the development industry, Dobson joins from Crest Nicholson, where he spent almost seven years, most recently as managing director of its Strategic Projects division. In this role he managed a team of 30 that was responsible for identifying, promoting, securing and delivering all aspects of large scale residential led communities.

Alongside Dobson’s appointment, Strategic Land & Regeneration has also promoted three current members of the team. Rob Williams is made managing director, Major Projects, while Janine Parker and Dinny Shaw take on the roles of customer & community director and planning director respectively.
