New platform helps sellers become ‘sale ready’

Sort Move has launched a new onboarding proposition that allows sellers to become ‘sale ready’ by completing their conveyancing paperwork online from the moment they list their property on the market.

Fast-Start presents the seller’s law firm with an opportunity to electronically issue contracts as soon as an offer is agreed, with a view to helping to speed up the conveyancing process.

Sort Move, a digital hub for estate agents, features products and services that include conveyancing, surveys, specialist property reports and EPCs.

Aside from add value to the customer journey, these products provide another income stream for the agent, through what Sort Move says are fair and transparent referral fees.

Fast-Start allows clients to complete the protocol documents via a desktop, tablet or mobile device. It also packages Biometric ID and AML checks, as well as digital signatures on all completed paperwork, which means that they can be accepted by the law firm once ready to progress.

Nicholas Webber, a director at Westcoast properties, is among a small group of agents to have trialled Fast-Start.

He said: “Sort Move are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience for the customers, the recent release of Fast-Start for sellers being a good example. This enables sellers to sign up as soon as they put their property on the market, complete ID checks and preliminary forms and paperwork to be ‘contract ready’ as soon as a buyer is found.”

Leanne Fuller O’Grady, Fuller O’Grady Estates, added: “I have used Sort Move for a few months now. I have to say when I set my small estate agency up I was worried about how I would get my clients speedy and professional quotes.

“With Sort Move I can do these quotes, tailor them to each client, include my own branding and offer them a unique platform. I love the updates I get for sales going through and also the incentive is very good for each file completion.”
