A new rental business currently raising money via crowdfunding is offering agents that back it a lifetime ‘freeze’ on subscriptions.
Inadash’s campaign on Seedrs is due to close this evening.
The business offers a platform that manages property viewings, currently only in the London market although it has plans to roll out to other UK cities.
With Inadash, prospective renters attend open house events arranged by agents, and can make offers through the platform.
The service says it offers time efficiencies to both agents and renters.
CEO Draham Hasula said: “We’re determined to help make renting more accessible and efficient for all our customers.
“The renting market doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon, but we can ensure that both renters and agents are protected from wasting time.”
The company, based at Canary Wharf, is offering any UK letting agents that participate in the crowd-funding raise a fee freeze “by joining us on our journey”.
It monetises itself by agents’ subscriptions, which start at £150 per month.
The offer applies to anyone running an agency now or who works in one and goes on to start a new agency.
Industry veteran Michael Stoop is chairman of Inadash, which was looking to raise £350,000 in exchange for 11.06% equity.
By yesterday it had gone over target, raising £411,286 from 442 investors.
The business values itself at £2.8m.
