It’s the industry bash of the year – and we guarantee that all who attend the Agents Giving ball early next month will have a whale of a time.
And that includes the lucky two EYE readers who win our exclusive draw for free tickets.
Highlight of this fun-packed and glamorous event is bound to be the inaugural Agents Got Talent contest.
Vying for the crown (although mysteriously missing from the list is Honey G, the rap star from the X Factor two years ago who is now working for Chancellors) are:
- Singer Lauren Harley, 29, from Drivers & Norris;
- A dance group from X1 Lettings;
- Poet John Roe, whose day job is a surveyor at Drivers & Norris;
- Singer and guitarist duo Christian Balshen, from Van Mildert, and Herrera-Lee from Prospect Engine;
- Singer Siobhan Willis, from Andrews Estate Agents;
- Jamie Nevitt, from Purplebricks, who plays guitar;
- Olivia Snow, from Hamptons International (our money’s rather on her, but you never know);
- Singer Kristjan Byfield, from Base;
- And comedy duo Simon Whale, from well, Whaley, and David Mintz from Normie & Co Sales & Lettings.
Peter Knight, chairman of Agents Giving, said: “Following the success of two years of Strictly Agents Dancing we are very excited about Agents Got Talent this year and are confident the acts will give it their absolute best. It’s such a great line-up and we look forward to seeing all the acts perform on the evening.
“It will be a night to remember.”
The evening will also see the industry’s fundraisers recognised for their charity and community efforts over the past year in The Fundraising Champion Awards 2018. There are bound to be many heartwarming stories of personal and team challenges and triumphs to help raise funds and awareness for causes close to their hearts.
“Tickets are selling at £1,600 per table of ten or £175 per individual ticket. So book your tickets today.
“As well as celebrating the industry’s fundraising efforts, the ball is a fantastic place to have your Christmas party and kick-start the festivities.”
If you fancy your chances at winning a pair of free tickets, just email ros@propertyindustryeye.com and put in the subject line ‘Agents Giving’.
Make sure you include full contact details. Closing date is this Wednesday at noon, so please don’t delay.
All will go into an electronic draw and we will notify our lucky winners in good time. Please note that the prize does not include travel or any accommodation.
The ball is on Friday, December 7, at the Marriott Grosvenor Square hotel in central London. Agents Giving is the industry’s own charity and – as we say – a whale of a time is guaranteed.
Talking of which, neither EYE nor the ball’s organisers have been given any indication as to the content of what Simon Whale and David Mintz will be coming up with. This may be just as well.
Their somewhat curious publicity picture may or may not provide any clues but does suggest yodelling.
Whaley is on the left and his partner in crime on the right – we’re not sure whether either the cat or the fondue set will be part of the act, but let’s hope the pair wear those thrilling polo-necks.
I’m just so impressed with the commitment and enthusiasm of our fellow estate agents and suppliers.
Good on you!
This is going to be a really fun night which will also raise monies for the fantastic charity that is AGENTS GIVING!
I urge all lovers of fun and charity to attend – it’s going to be a great night!
