Mind the app! Lettings ‘platform’ takes the advertising tube

An app that claims to speed up finding a home in the capital for tenants has launched an eight-week-long advertising campaign on the London Underground.

Movebubble, founded by Aidan Rushby, a former branch manager for letting agents Ocean, allows pre-qualified renters to search available homes, rents and fees from lettings agents, and then connect directly with negotiators to book viewings.

It claims to have attracted over 100,000 downloads so far, with no marketing spend. Obviously, it has reached into its pockets for the advertising campaign but it won’t say how much it has cost.

The rhyming adverts (and we use the term “rhyming” in the loosest possible sense, see below for examples) will appear on escalators on the London underground for four weeks, before going into train carriages across the capital for another four weeks.
