A new tool has been launched which is designed to deliver quality leads to agents – and weed out fakes.
OneDome’s new tool provides what are described as “highly qualified” leads via social media.
Using Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, it sends agents a profile of each customer, using publicly available information.
OneDome says that statistically it takes around 15 viewings to sell a property, and that a good agent will spend between 20-30 minutes researching each customer before a viewing.
OneDome says its new tool can save hours of time for every property on an agent’s books.
The tool also aims to address the problem of fake leads where for reasons known only to themselves, customers often choose not to give a correct email address or phone number.
OneDome founder and CEO Babek Ismayil said: “Our tool cannot prevent people from entering fake details, but with over 78% of the UK’s adult population using Facebook and other social channels, it allows us to provide agents with a quick way to eliminate time wasters.”
OneDome, which officially launched in September, has now recruited its 100th branch and has a further 590 in the pipeline.
The company offers booking and lead generation tools for companies that want to stick to the traditional commission-based model. It now also offers a turnkey hybrid product.
OneDome, which has raised over £4.25m in funding, has recently hired industry stalwart Tim Price, formerly head of the estate agent network at Legal & General and director of the Live Organisation.
Price is described as OneDome’s second strategic hire from the industry following the appointment of Rachel Dipper, former head of residential marketing at Knight Frank.
The company operates a freemium model for smaller businesses, offering many of its products free to firms with fewer than 50 properties. There is an “enterprise pricing solution” for larger companies.
Ismayil said: “It is essential to support small businesses and grow with them whilst being able to cater to the needs of large firms with complex businesses.”
“20-30 minutes researching each customer before a viewing”
