A firm specialising in providing live web chats for agents is planning ambitious growth over the next two years.
Yomdel, which provides 24/7 live chat services, has appointed Martin Hess, formerly vice-president of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, as chairman.
Yomdel has also appointed Tim Thrower, founder and managing director of OCSL, a provider of hosted and cloud services, as an adviser.
Hess said: “I look forward to helping the brand strengthen its no 1 positioning.
“This highly innovative, lead-driven firm has huge potential for further growth and expansion over the next two years.”
Launched in 2014, Yomdel claims to be the only specialist live chat service in the property sector, with clients including Fine & Country, Thomas Morris, Newman Sales & Letings, and Balgores.
The firm says that live chat services can increase conversion rates, decrease abandonment and create more happy customers.
Andy Soloman, CEO of Yomdel, said: “These new senior appointments will help us strengthen our lead generation services to estate and letting agents, from large corporates to small independents.
“Our research shows that Yomdel doubles the number of enquiries that agents receive from their website and typically achieves customer satisfaction ratings of well over 90% driven by 20% or more of people chatting leaving positive feedback on their experience.
“Whether these web visitors become customers, they are all capable of becoming advocates who could recommend the estate agent they chatted with.”
Yomdel mostly works on performance without set-up fees or monthly subscriptions.
Andy Solomon has to take great satisfaction in his achievements, he has done everything he said he was going to do, he has done it well and is well respected for what he’s built. Well done Andy.

Kind words, thank you Robert. I am fortunate to have an absolutely fantastic team at Yomdel, and our growth is down to their hard work.

I remember us having our posts deleted from Eye in June 2014 when I highlighted Yomdel as standing head and shoulders above its competition for, service, innovation and likability. The posts were apparently too salesy, they weren’t; they were an honest assessment of a great example of emerging Generation 5 Proptech
I root around the internet quite a bit, whenever we hear your trademark livechat chime I’m immediately reassured I’m looking at a good website from a good firm. Yomdel in the corner is more than just live chat, it is a sign of service.
Those people who criticized me yesterday will no doubt be first in the queue to offer you big money for your firm, they will pat themselves on the back they’ve spotted a rising star to add to the portfolio of essential services to their agents, trouble is they’re 27 months behind the game… again!

I’m not surprised to say it looks like you called it correctly on this one, Mr May.
