Our client are a highly established and professional residential property investment company which deals in a fast paced environment trading residential properties throughout the UK.
They currently manage three private equity and debt investment funds along with investments in house building and development.
Due to continued expansion and their movement into new sectors they are seeking an experienced residential property consultant to manage their growing portfolio.
They work in a vibrant high energy and creative environment where the team work closely together which reflects the entrepreneurial nature of the company.
The Candidate:
They are looking for a Property Consultant who preferably has experience in UK residential property although all property backgrounds will be considered. At least two years property experience is however essential with a preference based on the following skill set and characteristics:
n understanding of the conveyancing process in reselling residential property;
managing basic property refurbishments;
a good understanding of excel spreadsheets with the ability to calculate basic investment returns;
an articulate telephone manner and strong presentation skills;
a degree in a relative subject such as finance property investment economics or law;
excellent organisational skills and the ability to problem solve.
It is important to emphasise that as an entrepreneurial organisation they are not necessarily looking for the finished article but rather someone with an outstanding work ethic a willingness to learn and a lot of potential. They will consider those candidates with slightly less experience if they can show that they have the right attitude. Ongoing training will be provided and all of their staff are encouraged to constantly improve and keep learning .
The Role:
The following summarises the opportunity available:
Working out of their modern head office in Fulham
Undertaking all related tasks involved in managing and reselling residential properties across their portfolio;
Liaising with solicitors and keeping up to date with key stages in the legal side of the sale process;
Managing one other team member who will effectively be an assistant and dealing with smaller administration tasks;
Undertaking market research to correctly calculate the sale value of each property;
Participating in creative meetings to further improve the return achievable on each deal;
Calculating investment returns and manipulating excel spreadsheets;
Answering investor queries and writing basic investment reports / updates;
Meeting monthly acquisitions targets;
Meeting with the company directors and contributing to meetings bi-weekly.
