Here’s another great Company Car of the Week.
It – sorry, he – is a 1967 Mini Countryman called Rolo, who belongs to House & Home in Coleshill, Birmingham.
Rolo is apparently dearly loved by staff and customers alike but has other assets: like all cars before 1974, there is no tax to pay and as a classic car, insurance costs just £97.
Furthermore, unlike almost every other car on the planet, Rolo does not depreciate in value.
On, and he does 50 miles to the gallon!
Agency owner Colin Lewis tells us: “We use him all the time.”
We’re not surprised.
Anyway, one thing is for sure: Foxtons’ fleet of Minis can’t possibly compete with Rolo.
Like it… Very low running costs, and a British classic too!
