The Conveyancing Association (CA) has launched a summer webinar programme for conveyancing firms, with sessions being delivered in partnership with a number of its affiliate members.
Running throughout June, July and August, the series will focus on operational, regulatory and business issues affecting conveyancing practices and property transactions.
The first webinar, scheduled for 24 June and delivered with Post Partner, will examine how firms can automate post allocation and document handling processes to reduce administrative workloads.
A second webinar, taking place on 7 July in partnership with Move Reports, will focus on stamp duty procedures and the implications of law firms being asked to register as tax advisers.
The CA said further webinars covering a range of legal, technology and professional services topics will be announced over the coming months as part of the programme.
CA members can register for individual webinars here.
Nicky Heathcote, non-executive chair at the CA, said: “One of the greatest strengths of the CA is the depth of expertise available through our Affiliate Member community. This Summer Webinar Series gives us an excellent opportunity to bring that expertise together and share practical knowledge that conveyancing firms can use immediately within their businesses.
“The pace of change within conveyancing continues to accelerate, whether through regulation, technology, consumer expectations or wider market developments. These webinars are designed to help firms stay informed, understand the issues that matter most and learn from those working at the forefront of the sector.
“We are grateful to our Affiliate Members for supporting this initiative and look forward to announcing further sessions throughout the summer.”
