Spicerhaart Part Exchange makes senior promotions amid recruitment drive

Lindsay Storey

Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Group Clients has announced two senior promotions and plans to expand its team further.

Lindsay Storey has been promoted to business development director, taking on responsibility for leading relationships with major housing developers and overseeing the firm’s business development function.

Storey has more than 20 years’ experience with Spicerhaart, including several years within the Part Exchange & Group Clients division, and nearly three decades in the wider property sector. She began her career with Haybrook before its acquisition by Spicerhaart, progressing through roles including new homes sales co-ordinator and divisional sales manager.

Lucy Jennings

The company has also promoted Lucy Jennings to operations manager. She will oversee the frontline team and wider office operations, working with sales and business development teams to deliver performance targets and service standards.

Jennings joined the business seven years ago as a sales consultant and has since held a series of roles including senior sales consultant, sales manager and assistant operations manager.

Neil Knight, divisional director of Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Group Clients, said: “This is a really exciting time for the business as we continue to see significant demand from developers for a fully managed part exchange and assisted move proposition. Developers are realising that by offering such a service to clients, they can reduce friction and achieve a faster path to completion.

“As we continue to facilitate smoother transactions for developers and their customers, the time is right to expand our team.

“As part of that, it is only right that we recognise the tremendous contributions of those who have helped us achieve our success. Both Lindsay and Lucy play critical roles in our team, ensuring that we don’t just attract and retain key partnerships with developers, but that we back this up with expert insight, support and exceptional results.”

As part of its expansion plans, Spicerhaart is also recruiting for a number of roles at its Sheffield office, including admin support assistants, sales consultants and an assistant operations manager.

Fine & Country appoints associate to support North Yorkshire growth

Lizzie Tate

Fine & Country Durham & North Yorkshire has appointed Lizzie Tate as an associate as it looks to strengthen its presence in the region’s premium property market.

Tate brings more than a decade of experience in the sector and will support buyers and sellers across North Yorkshire, with a focus on prime residential and rural homes.

Her appointment comes as the agency reports continued demand for higher-end properties across the county, including in rural locations and market towns.

Tate began her career in estate agency at 19 while studying real estate at Northumbria University, combining academic training with practical experience. She achieved chartered surveyor status in December 2023.

James Carver, director at Fine & Country Durham & North Yorkshire, said: “We are proud to welcome Lizzie to the team. Her experience, values and commitment to exceptional client service reflect everything Fine & Country stands for.

“As we continue to grow our presence across North Yorkshire, Lizzie’s local knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in supporting our clients across the region.”

Tate added: “I am delighted to be joining Fine & Country at such an exciting time. North Yorkshire offers an exceptional range of properties and lifestyles, and the demand we’re seeing reflects its growing appeal.”
