This year’s Carols by Candlelight Concert hosted by The Fine & Country has raised in excess of £15,400 in support of homelessness charities across Cambridgeshire.
The event, which took place on Sunday 7 December 2025 at the iconic King’s College Chapel in Cambridge, saw a high number of people attend for an evening filled with festive cheer, community spirit, and heartfelt generosity.
The funds raised will be donated to Emmaus Cambridge, Jimmy’s Cambridge, Wintercomfort, and Cambridge Cyrenians, four local organisations providing vital services, shelter, and long-term support for individuals experiencing homelessness.
Guests enjoyed enchanting performances from King’s Voices, whose atmospheric renditions of classic carols filled the candlelit chapel with warmth and seasonal joy. VIP guests were later welcomed to a festive reception, where mulled wine and mince pies offered a chance to reflect on the powerful purpose behind the celebration.
Emilie Despois, trustee of The Fine & Country Foundation, said: “The Carols by Candlelight concert has become an incredibly special tradition, not only for its festive atmosphere but for the real and lasting impact it has on people’s lives. Raising over £15,400 is an extraordinary achievement and a testament to the compassion and community spirit of everyone who attended and supported the event.”
Since its inception, Carols by Candlelight has played a significant role in The Foundation’s mission to combat homelessness, contributing greatly to the funds raised annually for charities and non-profit organisations throughout the UK and overseas.
