Former Savills director joins growing lettings business as co-owner

Chris Jarrett and Stuart Turner

Cheltenham-based letting agent Regency Residential has welcomed Chris Jarrett as director and co-owner of the business.

He will work alongside director Stuart Turner, who created the company in 2022.

Jarrett has been involved in property for almost 30 years and has most recently had the role of director and head of office at Savills, where he worked for almost 14 years.

Reflecting on his move from employee to ownership, Jarrett said: “I am so excited to have the ability to implement the 28 years of experience I have gained to run my own business alongside Stuart.

“In the space of a little over 12 months, Stuart has grown the Regency Residential brand into one of the leading letting agents in Cheltenham, and I am thrilled to work with him to widen the offering into residential sales.

“My experience throughout my career has been the sale of premium property, and I look forward to working with old clients and new contacts and helping them buy and sell, but in a less formulaic fashion so typical of the larger firms.’

Jarrett added that he “firmly believes” that the business of estate agency is changing rapidly. “The historic concept of handling countless clients at the same time is over,” he said. “Understandably, sellers want a much higher level of service and want to feel that their agent is with them every step of the way.”

Commenting on the move, Turner said: “Chris and I have collaborated for many years, and I am absolutely delighted to have someone with his level of experience leading our new sales offering.”

Wow that’s impressive wonder if true how they have persuaded Landlords to dump their current Letting Agents or just creative licence?
