Reapit has appointed Steve Richmond as general manager in charge of operations in its home market, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Richmond has worked with estate and letting agencies for more than 30 years. He joins from LSL, where he served as chief operating officer since 2015.

Prior to joining LSL, Richmond had been managing director, operations, Countrywide Residential Lettings. He joined Countrywide in 1992.

Richmond said: “Having evaluated all of the proptech technology platforms while in my previous roles, I came to the conclusion that Reapit is the leading solution on the market. I now see huge opportunities to expand Reapit’s business in estate agency and lettings across the UK and Ireland.”

“I had a fantastic time working at LSL, where I built up some close professional friendships, and am now ready for a new challenge, working with the wider estate agency community, and acting as the industry’s strongest supporter and advocate within Reapit UK & Ireland”, Richmond added.

Strutt & Parker announces two new head of sales appointments in PCL

Agne Karazuite

Strutt & Parker has announced the appointment of two new sales heads in prime central London.

Agne Karazuite has been promoted to head of sales in South Kensington, and Ed Boden has been appointed head of sales in Chelsea, who is also joined by assistant Sales Head, Miles Baker.

James Gow, head of London sales at Strutt & Parker, commented: “These appointments are testament to Agne, Ed and Miles’ exceptional track records, our continued commitment to recognise talent, and the opportunity we see in PCL in 2024. In what has been an extraordinary year for the property market, PCL has proved resilient.

“Prices have remained broadly stable and there are still plenty of determined buyers who recognise that PCL offers comparatively good value compared to 2014, and are willing to pay the right price to secure the best homes on the best addresses. The market is however more sensitive given the ongoing economic outlook, and so strategic advice from trusted advisors is more important than ever before. Agne, Ed and Miles are formidable agents who deliver just that.”

Karazuite joined Strutt & Parker at the end of 2021 and she has a solid track record spanning almost two decades in the industry, half of which has been spent in South Kensington and Chelsea. Her promotion follows a particularly impressive run despite the headwinds the market has faced.

Karazuite said: “This year has brought the fundamentals of the market to the fore: timing, pricing, and exploring every possible avenue are more important than ever before to deliver the best results for clients. By following these principles, even in a more complex market, you can defy the headlines to secure transactions on super-prime homes with multiple bidders, and even set price records for some of SW10’s most sought-after streets, as I have done this year. I look forward to bringing this same energy and enthusiasm to the market in South Kensington, which is one of the most charming neighbourhoods in London.”

L-R: Miles Baker and Ed Boden

Boden has been appointed as head of sales, Chelsea, following six years heading up the sales team in South Kensington. He moves to the firm’s Chelsea office with assistant sales head, Miles Baker, who together have over thirty years’ worth of experience selling in the Royal Borough, and have transacted on over £1bn of sales values between them.

Boden commented: “Over the years, Miles and I have become the ‘go-to’ duo in South Kensington for prime and super-prime sales, building a loyal following with clients, buyers and agents, and a reputation as an enthusiastic and hands-on double act. Our partnership style means we can deliver twice the level of client service to those we advise. We have been fortunate to advise on some of the most notable sales in the Royal Borough, and our combined volume of sales demonstrates how effective our approach is.

“We are excited to bring our style of estate agency and some new, fresh energy to the Chelsea market and getting stuck in to expanding on our joint success in a new location. The momentum in the market is beginning to shift, with viewing and offer levels trending upwards, and this will only further support buyer demand in this ever-popular pocket of London. There is everything to play for in 2024.”

Eddisons boosts South coast agency team with senior appointment

Nick Holtby

Eddisons has appointed chartered surveyor Nick Holtby to head its agency team across its three South Coast offices.

Based across the firm’s Fareham, Bournemouth and Isle of Wight bases, Holtby joins Eddisons with over a decade’s experience of property agency and valuation in the region, including most recently as senior surveyor at Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell.

Eddisons’ South Coast operation was previously known as Daniells Harrison, until the independent firm was acquired by the property group early in 2022. It employs a team of 24 people across its three Hampshire and Dorset offices.

Holtby said: “The regional market is in robust shape at the moment, with the ports of Southampton and Portsmouth fuelling demand and growth in the warehouse and logistics sector, and we are also seeing a good flow of instructions across retail, office and land sales.

“I am looking forward to growing Eddisons’ agency offering across the South Coast and providing an outstanding agency service to the firm’s new and existing clients.”

Hampshire-based Eddisons director, Chris Daniells, commented: “We are really pleased to welcome Nick on board. He has an excellent knowledge of the South Coast market and agency is an area of the business that we intend to grow across our region.’’

“Eddisons is forging ahead in Hampshire and Dorset, as we are across the UK, and we are firmly committed to investing in talented people to enable us to expand the breadth of exceptional services that we offer to clients, ranging from agency to architecture and property management to project management, as well as building surveying, homebuyer reports and valuation.”
