Reapit make changes to senior management team structure

Reapit has made changes to its senior management team that could have a significant impact on operations in the UK.

Mark Armstrong, appointed UK and Group CEO in January last year, remains group chief executive overseeing business operations in Australia, Ireland, Denmark, as well as here in the UK. But Reapit’s former chief marketing officer, Patrick Hannah, has taken over as CEO in the UK on a temporary basis.

Hannah’s appointment will become a permanent one in May if all works out well between now and then.

Hannah told EYE that the CEO role has changed somewhat since Armstrong’s appointment due to the substantial acquisitions in ANZ and Denmark.

“Those other regions each have a regional MD/CEO,” said Hannah. “In the UKI Mark has been playing that role as well as the global, group role.”

During Armstrong’s time in charge the UK leadership team has been bolstered by several new faces – like Sarah Dearden, and by Reapit veterans like Nick Tiley who has returned to the UK following a stint in Australia.

Hannah added: “Mark [Armstrong] is evaluating whether his dual role is sustainable and if not then what type of UKI MD does he need to work alongside him and give additional support to the UKI business. I’m doing that role for the next four months to help define the needs of the job.”
