Nathan Emerson takes board position with TDS
The Dispute Service (TDS) has announced the appointment of Nathan Emerson, CEO of Propertymark, to the Board of TDS.
We are told that as the CEO of Propertymark, Emerson is keen to further the shared values of professional standards in the industry and to continue ensuring that Propertymark members’ interests are well represented.
“Propertymark was one of the founders of TDS in 2003 along with RICS and has been continuously represented on the Board ever since. Nathan replaces Mark Hayward who has now retired, and I am delighted Nathan has joined the TDS Board to further strengthen the long-standing partnership between us.” said Steve Harriott, CEO of TDS.
Emerson added: “I am really pleased to take my place on what is a very active and forward-thinking Board at TDS. I want to be able to champion the interests of agents whilst supporting the Board to deliver its strategy and achieving its goals.”
haart appoints new area partner
haart has appointed a new area partner for Hertfordshire.
Adam Smith, 31, has been promoted from branch manager in Stevenage, bringing 11 years’ experience to the role. He previously worked for Taylors Countrywide and Kings Estate Agency.
In addition to Stevenage, Smith is now responsible for Letchworth, Hitchin, Baldock and surrounding villages as he supports haart partners to grow their market share in their respective areas.
He said: “My first ever job was as a sales advisor for BP, and I’ve always had a passion for customer satisfaction in all my roles. The biggest drive for me is being able to assist people with the most important purchase in their lives.
“I’m looking forward to seeing us expand in more towns and helping the team progress and excel in their current roles to hopefully move forward in their own personal careers.”
OneDome hires two new directors to its board
OneDome, the challenger portal, has hired two new directors to its board.
Tim Brooke Thom, a former Chairman of Monzo, the challenger bank, has joined the board as a non-executive director. He brings a wealth of experience in start-ups and scale ups, as well as large financial institutions.
From 2015 to 2019, Brooke was chairman and a board director of Monzo Bank, one of the largest fintech companies in the world.
Michael Yeates joined OneDome earlier this year. He is a former general manager of Cheltenham & Gloucester Plc.
Yeates is an experienced retail banking specialist, undertaking over 40 Board level assignments for more than 30 UK banks and other organisations, including HSBC, RBS, Barclays, NatWest, Nationwide, Abbey, Alliance & Leicester, The John Lewis Partnership and Next plc.
Brooke and Yeates have joined a board that is chaired by Sir Nigel Knowles.
These appointments coincide with the launch of OneDome’s digital homebuying platform and its flagship Homebuyer service.
