Only a couple of weeks after news broke that ZPG are making redundancies, The Evening Standard has reported that Zoopla is looking to boost its tech team in London.
Apparently it wants to create 50 new roles in its product and tech team, aimed at creating an “ever-improving” range of services for customers.
Most of the roles will be based at its head office near Tower Bridge.
Dave Wascha, Zoopla’s chief product and technology officer, said:
“Despite recent events London remains a global tech hub and one of the world’s great cities.
“It remains a huge draw for the world’s brightest minds, many of which are eager to live and work here.”
