Winkworth franchise company has just unveiled a redesigned website.
This allows for the integration of a new ‘self-help’ service with Winkworth’s estate agency software.
As soon as buyers sign up to either system, they will automatically be registered with a personal account on the other.
By consolidating the two systems, clients will have full access to all of their details online.
Landlords and vendors will have their own property portals where they can easily access their current sales or lettings transactions, and manage their viewings and offers throughout the entire process.
Winkworth CEO Dominic Agace said: “The new website plays a fundamental role in our plan to expand the business digitally over the next three to five years.
“Online services are becoming increasingly important in estate agency, and therefore it is crucial to remain at the forefront of technology and to constantly improve our digital offering.”
The redesigned website has become more responsive to different devices such as tablet, phone and desktop.
Online chat and a review function are among the new features.
CLARIFICATION: Following publication of this story under a different headline, Winkworth has asked us to make clear that the new website features are not actually part of a move to open an online agency service.

Seems like the most moderate comment I have made this year is being moderated. I apologise for my lack of lack of controversy.
