The Women in Estate Agency (WiEA) group is calling on estate agents across the UK to join them in the Lake District Ultra Challenge® on 7 June 2025, raising funds in memory of their late committee member and dear friend, Sarah Edmundson.
With the New Year upon us, there’s no better time to commit to a personal challenge that also benefits such an amazing cause. WiEA aims to recruit at least 50 estate agents from across the UK to conquer either the 29km Quarter Challenge or the 10km Ambleside Loop, with all proceeds going towards Breast Cancer Now.
The Quarter Challenge is no ordinary walk in the park! Participants will experience the breathtaking beauty of the Southern Lake District, starting from Kendal and following routes with stunning views and challenging terrains.
Or if you prefer a less stretching option the Ambleside Loop will still give you the chance to enjoy the wonderful scenery at a more leisurely pace.
For either challenge, whether you choose to walk, jog, or run, this is a fantastic opportunity to push your limits and have a great day out with fellow estate agents while contributing to vital breast cancer research and support.
The event promises to be a memorable occasion, including:
+ Scenic Routes: Explore the picturesque landscapes of the Lake District, including the Garburn Pass and Rydal Water.
+ Full Support: Enjoy hospitality, transfers, and parking facilities at the Kendal basecamp.
+ Celebration and Commemoration: Finish with a medal, T-shirt, fizz, and optional picnic lunch in Ambleside, followed by a celebratory meal at the end of the day.
