UK rental services provider Housing Hand will be holding a free-to-attend webinar this week.
From HMOs to PBSA – What the Renters’ Rights Bill Could Mean for You will support attendees to understand the changes resulting from the Bill and their impact.
The event, which will be held this Friday, will aim to provide practical steps that landlords – ranging from those operating Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) to Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) operators – can take to adapt ahead of the new regulations.
Housing Hand says it will seek to empower attendees to learn how to futureproof their businesses in order to mitigate risks and meet legal obligations resulting from the Bill.
With the Bill now past committee stage, the From HMOs to PBSA – What the Renters’ Rights Bill Could Mean for You webinar, to be held at 12pm, will bring together rental housing sector and legal experts to examine both its technical details and wider implications if passed in its current form.
Webinar hosts Graham Hayward, (managing director, Housing Hand) and James Maguire (sales and business development director, Housing Hand) will be joined by consultant solicitor Ryan Heaven.
Also present will be Daniel Baker, head of property management at Joint Living, a student accommodation provider with over 70 HMO student properties across Brighton, Bath, Bristol, Newcastle and Oxford.
Hayward said: “The proposed Renters’ Rights Bill marks the single biggest change to the rental sector for decades. Everyone from individual private landlords to institutional operators needs to be not only aware of the Bill’s implications but poised to embrace the changes it could represent. We look forward to supporting the rental housing sector to do so at our upcoming webinar.”
