Winkworth has increased its presence in south-west London with a second office in Putney.
Winkworth franchisee Russell White has opened a second office at 62 Lower Richmond Road in West Putney in a spot close to the Thames. He also runs the Winkworth office in the centre of Putney and the Winkworth franchise in Southfields.
Russell White, who has worked at Winkworth Putney for the past 32 years, first as part of the team before taking over as franchisee, said: “Our new office is a natural expansion of our presence in Putney, providing a link with Winkworth’s offices in Fulham, Barnes and Wimbledon. Putney still sees a good number of people who work from home part of the week and they want to be close to the green spaces of the local commons and parks, and good local coffee shops.
“Homes are within the catchment of some excellent primary and secondary schools, and there is a real sense of community in many of the streets. House prices range from £1m to £2m for a terraced or semi-detached home, with large detached family homes in the £3m to £5m bracket. Putney is one of London’s super suburbs and there is a continuing demand from young professionals, families and downsizers to live here and make the most of the lifestyle on offer.”
Dominic Agace, chief executive, Winkworth, added: “We are delighted to see Russell expanding in Putney – reflecting the strength of our network in the most desirable areas of London. Russell embodies the entrepreneurial approach that we encourage to flourish at Winkworth.”
